Meet Brian

Tell us about yourself:

I’m Brian, from Draper, UT. I’m 29 years old and work as a project manager for a real estate development firm. I graduated from BYU and spent a couple of years in New York City before the mountains called me back home! I love to travel and am always down for a good adventure. I love a good dad joke and my most played album ever on Spotify is Josh Groban’s Christmas Album, I listen to it year round, whoops!

What motivated you to apply?

This type of thing is very much out of the norm for me, but after a little bit of peer pressure, I figured it would be a pretty safe risk to take. I really thought there would be no chance of getting picked, but I’d be “vulnerable” by at least applying. Little did I know...

What is wrong with dating today?

I feel like sometimes we don’t give each other a fair shot and focus on things that don’t actually matter. I wish there was a way to have trial period, where you could be committed to each other for a set amount of time to see if things work out. Wouldn’t that be nice ;)

Meet Sarah

Tell us about yourself:

I'm Sarah, a 27 year old NC transplant living in UT. I ventured out here to Utah to go to school at BYU and graduated with a degree in Recreation Management. I liked it so much out here I decided to stay, and currently have a job in the Onboarding department at Weave. I love hiking, camping, and weekend trips. I run a lot of half marathons for the metals.

What motivated you to apply?

It's a pretty unconventional way of dating, but I liked the idea of it and was curious about all the things I could learn.

What is wrong with dating today?

What I think is wrong with dating today: The paradox of choice. The more choices we have the harder it is to choose.
